Estrategia Española de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo, 2023-2027

El Consejo de Ministros, reunido el 14 de marzo de 2023, aprobó la Estrategia Española de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo (EESST) 2023-2027, fruto del consenso entre la Administración General del Estado, las Comunidades Autónomas y los interlocutores sociales.

Esta Estrategia pretende ser un nuevo marco de referencia que oriente las políticas públicas de prevención de riesgos laborales.
La EESST 2023-2027 adquiere un compromiso firme con los ejes prioritarios del Marco Estratégico Europeo de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo 2021-2027 y, particularmente, con el objetivo de anticiparse a los riesgos derivados de las transiciones digital, ecológica y demográfica.

Sus líneas de actuación también se han alineado con otras estrategias y planes nacionales en materias fundamentales como la salud mental, la igualdad de hombres y mujeres, el cáncer laboral, la seguridad vial y el cambio climático, entre otras.

La Estrategia Española de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo 2023-2027 aspira, en definitiva, a lograr entornos de trabajo seguros y saludables, que contribuyan positivamente a la salud de las personas trabajadoras, y al progreso de las empresas y de la sociedad.

Abstract

The Council of Ministers, meeting on 14 March 2023, approved the Spanish Strategy for Safety and Health at Work 2023-2027, the result of consensus between the General State Administration, the Autonomous Communities and the social partners.

This Strategy aims to be a new reference framework to guide public policies on occupational risk prevention.

The Spanish Strategy for Safety and Health at Work 2023-2027 is firmly committed to the priority axes of the European Strategic Framework on Health and Safety at Work 2021-2027 and, in particular, to the objective of anticipating the risks arising from the digital, ecological and demographic transitions.

Its lines of action have also been aligned with other national strategies and plans in key areas such as mental health, gender equality, occupational cancer, road safety and climate change, among others.

The Spanish Strategy for Safety and Health at Work 2023-2027 aims, in short, to achieve safe and healthy working environments that contribute positively to the health of workers and to the progress of companies and society.
